Scott Page is a popular teacher and speaker whose research focuses on formal models of social, political and economic systems. Scott earned a masters degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin and a PhD in Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences from the J.L. Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern. An eclectic scholar, he has published articles on topics ranging from public good provision, electoral competition, segregation, city formation, culture, standing ovations, chain stores, exurban sprawl, dynamical systems, measures of complexity, path dependence, and on the benefits of diversity.
