SETUP - EXPERIMENT #2
|
Our second experiment investigates the effects of increasing the amount of information ("numtests") of each resident. In Experiment 1, residents selected the location that best for them from a list of 10 locations. In this experiment residents evaluate 30 locations. We do not change the aesthetic quality of the landscape because we are first interested in the effects of increasing information on settlement patterns. Remember, more information about how the model works is available in the "Details" section. What kind of hypotheses can you make based on the Experiment 2 settings and what you learned from Experiment 1? For Example: Will the increase in information create more or less urban sprawl? Write down your hypotheses and lets try out the new settings! (below) |
