    Making a Data CD

    • Insert a blank cd into the external Plextor CD-RW drive (E:) on neptizzle
    • Login to Windows from neptizzle's console, or from a remote windows desktop
    • Open Easy CD Creater by double clicking on the desktop icon labeled: "Burn CD & DVDs with Roxio"
    • Hover the mouse on "Make a Data CD", then click on "Data CD project"
    • Another box will come up that allows you to browse through and add files to the project
    • After you have all the files added, click the red "Record" button
    • A box will come up, click on "Start Recording"
    • When the cd is done recording, exit the program. It is a good idea to verify that you can access files on the cd from other computers. Also note, once you record a cd you will be unable to add more data to the cd later.

    Copying a CD

    • Insert a blank cd into the external Plextor CD-RW drive (E:) on neptizzle
    • Insert the cd you want to make a copy of into the internal CD-ROM drive (D:) on neptizzle
    • Login to Windows from neptizzle's console, or from a remote windows desktop
    • Open Easy CD Creater by double clicking on the desktop icon labeled: "Burn CD & DVDs with Roxio"
    • Hover the mouse on "Disk Copier", then click on "Dick copier"
    • Another box will come up, make sure the D: drive is selected under "Copy from", and the E: drive is selected under "Record to".
    • Click "Copy"

    Making a CD from a CD image (*.cif or *.iso)

    • Insert a blank cd into the external Plextor CD-RW drive (E:) on neptizzle
    • Login to Windows from neptizzle's console, or from a remote windows desktop
    • Open Easy CD Creater by double clicking on the desktop icon labeled: "Burn CD & DVDs with Roxio"
    • Hover the mouse on "Make a Data CD", then click on "Data CD Project"
    • Another box will come up, on the pull down menu click "File" ---> "Record CD from CD Image ..."
    • Select the CD image file you want to record.
    • Click "Start Recording"
