Our goal is to help
encourage the formation of a coherent community of researchers on campus grouped around
the general theme of complexity, emergence, and collective effects. This third ICAM meeting at the University of Michigan is timed to connect to the University of Michigan conference on "Language as a Complex Adaptive System" (Nov.8-9, 2008)
The meeting is intended for an audience with a wide range of backgrounds.
